The “Calabria Roma Europa” Foundation, operating nationally since 2011, aims to be a point of meeting and collaboration for a wide Network of Local Authorities, SMEs and Citizens active throughout the country and its fundamental aims are to increase the activi-ties of cultural research, dissemination and debate concerning the policies, programs and projects of the European Union in all sectors in order to draw proposals to provide them to decision makers. Therefore, it is an instrument of reflection open to stimulate discus-sion among the general public on the main nodes of innovation, cultural, political and economic and the steps required to the Regions of Europe, Italy and other European Countries to redefine the respective key political and cultural roles in today.Currently, they adhere to the CRE Foundation, among other members, about 140 Ital-ian Cities and Municipalities, mainly located in the Region of Calabria in South Italy.The Foundation has its headquarters in Rome and a representative office in Calabria located at Norman Castle of the City of Santa Severina (www.comune.santaseverina.kr.it) adhering to the National Association “The Most Beau-tiful Villages of Italy” (www.borghitalia.it/pg.base.php?id=6&cod_borgo=798).The Foundation is also a Research Institute that has the expressed purpose of pro-moting studies and insights that can drive the production of new ideas to the challenges of this new century, an Institute of Education that aims to enable the aggregation of profes-sional and competences with the shared objective of promoting economic and social de-velopment and territorial cohesion of the Regions, Local Authorities, Italy and the Eu-ropean Countries: a place of confrontation between the italian tradition and the different cultural traditions of Europe that contribute to the solutions of cultural, social and gov-ernment policies adapted to the new world scenario crossed by strong currents of innova-tion that Italy along with other EU countries intend to enrich in a European vision.
