The City of Conselve is a city of about 10.000 peoples whose origins go back to the year 954. Its territory owes the highest peak of its splendour to the Venetian Republic under which rule, marshes have been converted into arable land so agriculture has become the leading sector. In the XX C. many SMEs have developed and thrived in this city which is about 20 kms far from the main town Padova. Conselve is twinned with the cities of Torcy /France and Jaszbereny (Hungary).
