Solidarietà Cervinese is a voluntary association established in 2007 with the aim of supporting and promoting voluntary activities, especially for the benefit of vulnerable and marginalized sectors of society.Certain that people are not only passive observers but also agents of the social, cultural and environmental context in which they live, Solidarietà Cervinese took on the mission of promoting active
citizenship,solidarity, fraternity, gratuitousness, respect for oneself and others, integration, and
prevention of youth uneasiness. In addition, management and implementation methods of the association are designed to be “open doors”, which means that all members - youths, adults,
volunteers, recipients - work together during decision making processes and practice
activities. In particular, the main activities of Solidarietà Cervinese are: Youth centre where youths are helped with school activities and they are guided to be active citizens of the society; Educational workshops and children’s entertainment (theatre, music, dance); Implementation of projects for supporting volunteering and solidarity, and promoting their cultures and values; Training courses; Organization of different kinds of events (conferences, Charitable/sport/leisure events, musical and theatrical demonstrations); Free food distribution to the most deprived people and families of the community; Collection, recycling and and sorting of second-hand clothes.
