We want to establish a research centre on European identity and citizenship which tackles disenfranchisement in peripheral zones of Europe through both a philosophical analysis of the current state of affairs of the European Union and through educational activities in secondary schools prompted at making the youth aware of European integration process and values. We have a Polish and an Italian partner, and we are seeking for a third partner based in other EU member state. "L'Icona" is a non-profit profit organisation which aims to contribute to the cultural advancement of localities in peripheries of Southern Italy by running a free "Philosophy Lab" on ethical philosophy open to all citizens.
